DAVE IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!

DAVE IS OUR DOG OF THE MONTH THIS MARCH 💚

OUR HANDSOME BOY DAVE IS A LARGE CROSS BREED, HE HAS CANE CORSO (ITALIAN MASTIFF), ROTTWEILER & LURCHER IN HIM AS FAR AS WE KNOW. DAVE IS 21 MONTHS OLD, HE STILL HAS HIS PUPPY WAYS AND LOVES TO GOOF AROUND. HE IS AROUND THE SIZE OF A LARGE GREYHOUND, BUT A BIGGER BUILD.  DAVE HAS A FEW GUARDING BREEDS WITHIN HIS DNA AND HAS THE TENDENCY TO GUARD HIS FAMILY AND PROPERTY WELL! HE WOULD SUIT A LARGE GUARDING BREED EXPERIENCED HOME THAT IS QUIET AND WITH NO CHILDREN. DAVE IS DOG, CAT  & CHICKEN FRIENDLY AND HAS LIVED WITH ALL IN HIS PREVIOUS HOME.  THIS BOY MAY ALSO SUIT A WORKING HOME, POSSIBLY AS  A GUARDING JOB, BUT WOULD ALSO BE A PART OF THE FAMILY, WE WILL NOT ALLOW HIM TO JUST BE A 'YARD DOG'! IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE WHAT DAVE NEEDS,

EBONY..WELFARE CASE

EBONY..Ebony came to us in June 2019..She was found wandering the streets of Chatham. She had severely infected ears, the dog warden picked her up and took her to the local council kennels and had a vet check her out. She was taken in for surgery to drain her ears and taken back to the kennels. A week later the dog warden went to check on her and thought she looked a bit plump. They took her to be scanned and she was pregnant!! The dog warden asked me if I could take her (how could i say no) she was transported to me on friday 21st June 2019. 7 days later she crawled onto my lap and gave birth to her first pup, she had 8 pups unfortunately we lost 1 little boy Jonah after 2 days but the other 7 were little fighters. They have now gone off to their furever homes and Ebony is still with me (founder) Ebony has been speyed and is undergoing intensive vet treatment for her ears she is currently going back and forward to the vets every 2 weeks, she also has some skin issues and had had 5 growths removed from her mouth and 1 from her armpit. With what this little girl has gone through its amazing how well behaved and how she is such a little darling. She is not ready for adoption yet but will be in the new year.

TESTIMONIAL BY DAWN (ADOPTER OF HER FOSTER DOG BELLA)

I fostered for A Dogs Tale, couldn't recommend them highly enough. Had so much support and encouragement throughout and they are very professional and thorough.  It's so clear how much these ladies genuinely love and care   for the dogs in their care. Even after their dogs are adopted and get a forever home A Dogs Tale still support them and their new owners whenever needed. Amazing rescue 😍 xx

TESTIMONIAL BY KELI (FOSTER CARER)

I fostered for A Dogs Tale and I cannot praise this rescue enough, nor can I fault them. They are professional, supportive, and caring for all the dogs that come in. They go out their way for the dog, the fosters and the families looking to adopt, they go above and beyond each and every day. They’re the first rescue I recommend to people looking to adopt, a rescue who caters to both the foster and future homes needs and the dogs needs. The most genuine ladies you could find to run a rescue, they will always be number 1 and a top rescue.
